This is a higher education qualification in UK. It is awarded after one year of full-time study at a university or other higher education institution, or two years of part-time study.
In the European Higher Education Area, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees are the first, second and third cycle of studies. In the international ISCED 2011 classification (UNESCO) they are levels 6, 7 and 8, and short-cycle programmes are level 5 – the same levels you can choose in the filter above.
Write the full name of the degree and add the abbreviation in brackets, for example: Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, University of …, 2026. In the UK the abbreviation is also written after a person’s name, e.g. Anna Kowalska, BSc.
